Today we had a visit from a student who was with us in 1999 - nearly 27 years ago! Bella, from Armenia, stayed with the Archer family then and again now and is with Colin Archer in the photo. It was great catching up with them both today and hearing Bella's memories of her time at Kingsway. She remembers being taught by Bruce and by Richard and said the course at a big impact on her life.
A story from Anna Sinyagova (2012 approx):
"Once after school, some friends (and one of the teachers) and I went to a bar. We had such a good time and got so carried away that I didn't come home until early morning. I had to quickly freshen up and go straight to school. But as it turned out, it's very hard to speak a foreign language with a hangover. I couldn't string two words together in class. My wonderful teacher, Heidi, asked me what had happened. I honestly said we'd had a bit too much fun. This saint of a woman took me to the common room and offered me some hot sweet tea. There was a guitar in the room. So I sat in the common room, drank my tea, and sang my own songs, playing the guitar. People came by to listen. It was so warm, cozy, and sincere."

I'm writing on behalf of Anna Sinyagova who emailed me with some lovely thoughts about her time at Kingsway 14 years ago (so about 2012) including the following:
"it was the first time I ever experienced the feeling that learning could be fun and enjoyable!"
"this was one of the brightest and most unforgettable periods of my life."
"I'm including 2 best photos from our trips to the Malvern Hills (I still remember the taste of the fish and chips from that walk)"
Can anyone help with the names, nationalities or dates of anyone in the photos?

What a lovely picture! This was taken on the terrace of 40 Foregate Street. Looks like it was summer time but I don't know the year and can't name the people. Can anyone help?
Obviously I know this teacher, but can anyone tell me his name? Who are the students in the class and where are they from?
Hi Everyone
Over the years we took many students to the Morgan Car Factory in Malvern. Did you go? If so please tell us any memories you have of your visit. I recognise one person in this photo as I am married to him! Who are the other people?
